After working 4 years in Barcelona, he decided to return to Benicarló and with just 20 years to open the gourmet restaurant Cor de Carxofa.

Author’s restaurant, located in front of the fishing and sports port of Benicarló (Castellón), with panoramic views of the sea and a sustainable terrace with built-in bicycle parking. Vegetarian cuisine where fresh, local and organic produce is the main protagonist.

Cor de Carxofa is located in a building from 1920, where it has been tried to respect the maximum of the original structure, combining modernity with tradition; Cozy and open spaces with light tones and pine wood, accompanied by a natural stone walls and  large beams of the time. A signature cuisine, 100% gluten-free, made at the moment with much love and dedication, with fresh, local and seasonal produce. We have our own organic gardens, managed by Mariano Bueno (a reference for organic farming naSonwide and author of more than 22 books). In additon to a restaurant and gourmet tapas, Cor de Carxofa is a healthy bakery made to order. A gluten-free patisserie, with vegan and sugarfree options.
