EThe Maspubills restaurant is located within the Ecocamp Vinyols ecological campsite, 5km from the beaches of Cambrils. Integrated within an agro-ecological farm, we define ourselves as a natural kitchen and local produce, following the same philosophy of well-being, health and relaxation that we offer in the campsite. The history of the Maspubills restaurant is extensive, its activity begins at the time of founding the campsite, in 2005, when Ma Rosa Ribés, founder of the project, runs the kitchen. La Ma Rosa defends the natural, ecological and proximity cuisine from the beginning. In addition to its animalist philosophy, it has an accentuated tendency towards vegetarian cuisine. After retirement, the decision to outsource the management of the restaurant does not happen, and it’s been 5 years since the kitchen offered does not represent us in any way. By the end of 2016 we decided to take the reins of the business again. Being very clear about the type of cuisine we wanted, we contacted Xavi Fabra for advice on the new stage. And here we are! From an unbeatable environment, surrounded by fruit trees, dried fruits, the organic garden and 5 hectares of countryland with sea views, we have 2 different spaces depending on the season.
The large room, facing south, with tropical wood flooring and stained glass windows where we eat during the spring and autumn seasons. On cooler days the hazelnut stove accompanies us. For the warmer season, we have the terrace outside, where you can enjoy the green shade of the trees at noon, and relax in the fresh nights under the lights of the lanterns.
Since we offer seasonal cuisine, we offer all kinds of meals: calçotades (scallion-spring onions) evenings of marine cuisine accompanied by live music during the summer…making known to those who visit our culinary culture.
